The EuropaBON EBV Workflow Templates document presents a collection of standardized templates developed during a 2023 workshop to support the operationalization of Essential Biodiversity Variables (EBVs) across Europe. The goal is to facilitate transparency, collaboration, and interoperability in biodiversity monitoring by documenting current initiatives, emerging tools, and future needs for each EBV. The document also reflects a broad collaborative effort, involving over 500 participants from 49 countries, and builds on existing knowledge from EU biodiversity monitoring assessments. SeaBee made a contribution by demonstrating how drone-based remote sensing can enhance coastal biodiversity monitoring.
